Fils d’un architecte et d’une passionnée de design d’intérieur, Zachary Lemay-Choquette baigne dès l’enfance dans un univers où la créativité et la matière se rencontrent. Très tôt attiré par la fabrication et l’esthétique des objets, il choisit naturellement le design industriel comme voie d’expression.

Après une formation technique au Cégep du Vieux Montréal, il poursuit son parcours à l’Université de Montréal, où il obtient un baccalauréat en Design industriel en 2021. Son approche conjugue sensibilité esthétique, réflexion fonctionnelle et attention aux détails du quotidien.

Porté par une volonté d’autonomie créative et d’expérimentation, il amorce sa carrière en fondant ZAP/STUDIO, un espace dédié à l’exploration du design sous toutes ses formes, marquant ainsi le début d’un parcours où se croisent entrepreneuriat, artisanat et innovation.

Son of an architect and an interior design enthusiast, Zachary Lemay-Choquette grew up in a world where creativity and materiality naturally intertwined. From a young age, he was drawn to making things by hand and exploring the aesthetics of everyday objects, which led him naturally toward industrial design as a means of expression.
